Politics and International Relations

Focusing on three key subjects – comparative politics, political theory and international relations – this course explores the world of politics, from politicians and governments, war and peace, elections to revolutions. You will look at anyone and everyone who influences political life and political culture, from presidents to protesters. A wide selection of optional modules allows you to specialise in a variety of different areas, such as British politics, the European Union, globalisation, the government and politics of the USA, and terrorism and security. You can apply to spend up to a year studying abroad, taking similar modules to your counterparts back in Nottingham or expanding your knowledge through other options.
