This course gives you the opportunity to study Greek and Latin to an advanced level; no prior knowledge of either is required. You will complement your language studies with modules spanning Greek and Roman history and culture, through which you will develop an understanding of the context in which these languages developed. The department has particular expertise in classical languages, and excellent facilities to aid your language learning. Furthermore, you will have access to our on-campus museum, and be able to incorporate cutting-edge technologies into your study of the classical world with the facilities in our Digital Humanities Centre.
