Humanistic Counselling Practice

Providing students with more than the required number of training hours for individual BACP accreditation, this course is ideal for those wishing to practice as a professional counsellor. We have a strong track record of supporting students from non-traditional educational backgrounds and teaching is conducted by experienced counsellors and psychotherapists. You will build your practical experience through micro-skills training, skills practice groups and a supervised counselling placement. A key component of this course is the development of self-awareness and, as such, you will be required to take part in self-funded personal counselling in order to understand the experience from the client's perspective.
