This course provides a solid grounding in a wide range of techniques and skills which are sought after by employers. Macroeconomics, microeconomics, mathematics and statistics form the core of the degree, and the school offers a wide range of optional modules covering a diverse set of economics topics. You can apply to spend part of your second year at the University’s campuses in China and Malaysia or in locations such as Australia, Canada and Japan. The School of Economics is a recognised global leader in its field. It is situated on the beautiful University Park Campus in the Sir Clive Granger Building, which is named after the 2003 Nobel Prize winner for economic science, who spent more than 20 years studying and working at the University. Please note that only the BSc route will be available from 2019 entry onwards.
