Archaeology and History

This flexible course allows you to tailor studies to suit your interests and aspirations. It brings together different disciplines and a multitude of different sources, adding a range of artefacts and sites to texts, maps and images. To facilitate your studies, you will have access to our on-campus museum which offers valuable work experience opportunities. In addition, our Digital Humanities Centre has a Zeta book scanner and graphics applications. Rigorous academic study is combined with a strong field-based element, and you will have the opportunity to join our staff in locations such as Bulgaria, Italy, and South Africa to carry out excavations.
