Archaeology and Geography

The flexible range of modules offered in this course will equip you with practical research skills alongside a comprehensive understanding of the core theories in archaeology and geography. To facilitate your learning, you will have access to our on-campus museum, which offers a wealth of research and work experience opportunities. You will also enjoy outstanding facilities at our Digital Humanities Centre, which has a visualisation lab for graphics applications, and dedicated geographical research laboratories. Field work is an integral part of this course, where you will put your studies into practice by partaking in excavations either in the UK or abroad. Our staff are highly active in research, and you will have the opportunity to join them in locations such as Italy, Bulgaria, and South Africa to gain hands-on experience.
