Agricultural and Crop Science

By studying agricultural and crop science at the University of Nottingham, you can specialise in agricultural-specific modules from day one. At Nottingham, we take an applied approach to learning, offering modules such as Enterprise Management Challenge, where you grow, manage, and market your own crop of wheat. We continue this hands-on approach by organising field trips and visits to commercial and research organisations, taking advantage of our strong links with industry. Additionally, you have the opportunity to take a paid industry placement between years two and three, where you can spend a year working in your chosen area, improving your skills and enhancing your employability. You can also choose to add an extra year studying computer science at Nottingham, taken after year two.
