This course provides the opportunity for a more vocational entry (140-160 UCAS points) onto a degree programme as students study for 2 years, and are then encouraged to complete the top up degree. The course is linked to professional body requirements, and offers a strong, sector related emphasis on practical skills development alongside the development of knowledge and understanding. The subject group have a good reputation - The tourism subject group have been ranked 8th in the Guardian League Table. UCAS entry is lower than a standard degree, therefore, students wishing to pursue a degree have the opportunity to do so. It is student centred and industry led. It provides a good student experience, supported by dedicated staff.
