Sport Rehabilitation and Conditioning - University of Northampton

The BSc (Hons) Sport Rehabilitation and Conditioning degree is designed to develop you with the skills to assess, manage and rehabilitate people from sport related injuries. The degree includes core modules in sports injury and trauma, rehabilitation, massage, strength and conditioning, fitness training, as well underpinning sports-science disciplines modules such as physiology, fitness training and anatomy. You will complete a minimum of 240 hours of Work-based learning during study, to enable you to apply your knowledge in real-world settings and gain value experience as a foundation for future employment. Furthermore, the learning outcomes for modules across the programme are clearly linked to the UK Strength and Conditioning Association (UKSCA), and British Association of Sport Rehabilitators and Trainers (BASRaT) competencies and role delineations, leaving students well placed to pursue accreditations with these professional bodies upon graduation. Graduates in sport rehabilitators and conditioning are in demand. You could work in sports injury clinics, health clubs, professional sports clubs and fitness centres, with the military or as part of a GP referral scheme. Some graduates set up in private practice, or go on to postgraduate study. **By studying at the University of Northampton, you can be sure that:** - You will experience student life at the University’s £330 million Waterside Campus.
