Our Management course focuses on management and leadership, with the first year providing you with a thorough grounding in Business Studies. The course encourages you to develop an understanding of the different areas that management involves, together with the development of management skills including communication, critical evaluation and organisational appraisal. You will develop your management and leadership skills as well as gaining an understanding of management and business models, theories and principles. This vocationally oriented course is designed to balance your intellectual skills and the vocational needs of employers. As part of your degree, you are given the opportunity to work in a social enterprise – either an enterprise you set up with our support, or an existing enterprise. We also offer an optional work placement year that gives you the opportunity to put your skills to practice and gain valuable experience and contacts for your future career.
