The Fashion landscape is continually changing, making this a fascinating arena in which to develop knowledge and understanding of the application of marketing. As part of this course you will work on consultancy modules in a group and work on your own individual projects, both will allow you to develop a diverse portfolio of work, helping you to transition from a student to an industry professional by the time you graduate. There is also the option to complete a year’s work placement to prepare you for your future career. You will have the opportunity to work alongside fellow fashion, surface and accessory design students so that you can develop the skills and understanding that you will need to forge partnerships between business-minded and creative people. In previous years, Fashion Marketing students have seized the opportunity to gain vital professional experience and contacts at key events including: London Fashion Week, Graduate Fashion Week in London, The Clothes Show Live and New Designers. You will have the opportunity to participate in ‘live’ external projects, shows and exhibitions, as well as international study trips to fashion capitals like New York. All of your essential reading will be available from the University's Library which means that all your essential course reading materials are available for free when you start with us. Join us in September 2018 and be the first to experience student life at the University’s brand-new Waterside Campus. Come along to one of our Open Days to find out more.
