Acting & Creative Practice

**Why study this course?** This course offers intensive actor training with 30 hours of timetabled classes/rehearsals each week over a period of 30 weeks. You will have classes in stage acting, screen acting, radio acting and textual analysis alongside training in stage combat, singing and movement. You will learn how to apply your acting skills in modern contexts such as site-specific and immersive theatre. The emphasis is on becoming a creative and intelligent actor who can contribute to the rehearsal process when working with a director and in-between acting jobs has the skills and knowledge to tour performances you have created. We are looking for proactive students, full of ideas and energy that are highly committed to working in the theatre industry.
