As you progress, optional course units may show you how biochemistry allows us to understand and treat diseases. Subject areas include the molecular biology of cancer, cell cycle control and genetic diseases. In Year 3, you will have the opportunity to go on a placement with one of our more than 100 partner organisations in the UK or abroad.
