Electronic Commerce Computing (with a Year in Industry)

Electronic Commerce (e-Commerce) is a growing industry and there is a shortage of graduates with both the necessary computer skills and knowledge of how business and commerce operate. This programme addresses the gap in the market. It provides you with the necessary knowledge and abilities to build e-Commerce applications, and also gives you an appropriate appreciation of business environments and operations. On G491 you spend a year on a real industrial placement acquiring experience and awareness of practical business and industrial environments. Computing modules cover Programming in Java, Computer Systems, Software Engineering, Databases, Internet Principles and e-Commerce amongst others. This programme includes a related group project and an individual project.
