Italy has been an important player in Europe for centuries and has a huge, rich cultural heritage. If you’ve never studied it before, this degree will allow you to learn Italian from scratch while gaining an understanding of the strategic and operational issues involved in running successful foreign operations. Core modules will introduce key issues in international business, as well as developing language skills. But we also offer a wide range of optional modules so you can study the topics that interest you, from Dante and Petrarch to minority languages and using Italian in business. You’ll even spend a year in Italy to gain first-hand experience. From transnational corporations to Primo Levi via Renaissance humanism and today’s global economy, this broad-based degree will equip you with a wide range of skills. You’ll gain awareness of another culture alongside valuable business knowledge, supported by the Centre for International Business at the University of Leeds (CIBUL).
