English and Thai Studies

Graduates of this degree are valued for their exceptional skills of articulation and communication in both English and Thai. You will engage critically with literature from the medieval to the present day as you study the language, politics, society and culture of Thailand. As you learn to speak, read and write Thai and apply literary theories and concepts, you will gain cultural and linguistic understanding alongside research expertise in specialist subjects from the Brontës to Buddhism.
