Asia Pacific Studies and Thai Studies

Thailand has undergone a massive transformation in the past few decades, economically, politically and socially. As it continues to evolve, there has never been a more exciting time to study Thai Studies. This degree will allow you to develop Thai language skills alongside a deep cultural awareness of the issues facing the nation. You’ll also take modules on a wide variety of topics in Asia Pacific Studies, giving you a broader sense of the regional context in which Thailand is developing. A combination of core and optional modules will give you a good grounding in the politics and history of the region, while optional modules will give you the chance to shape your degree according to your interests.
