This exciting and vibrant BSc degree examines the main elements of modern physics through a combination of theoretical, mathematical and applied topics, giving you a practical insight into the laws that govern the universe and the skills and techniques used by astrophysicists. Over your three years of study, you will be given a broad presentation of the key physical laws and principles of modern physics, alongside basic mathematics and progress to the application of Physics in industry, technology and engineering. You will also look at how Astrophysicists use fundamental physics to study celestial objects and phenomena, addressing important questions about the origin and nature of the universe.
