Nursing (Child)

On this course, you will learn to work and communicate with children and their families – often in difficult, demanding situations. You are encouraged to find the most effective methods of nursing a sick child, while looking at ways that childcare could be improved. The placements you undertake on this course will teach you clinical practice skills which are supported by timetabled activities in a simulated environment. Upon graduation, you will be awarded an academic and professional award enabling you to register with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a qualified registered nurse. See our website for more information.
