Marine Biology

This course has an emphasis on practical field work ensuring you develop key skills for describing the marine environment, and a range of study options allowing you to focus on your own areas of interest. The North Sea forms the ideal backdrop for the degree; making Hull an ideal place to study marine biology. This course is designed to develop your thinking and broaden your horizons by developing the practical skills necessary for a career in marine biology. It’s one of the few to offer subsidised PADI dive training as well as residential and overseas field trips. We also offer a foundation year, ideal for students who do not have the qualifications for direct entry on to the programme. See our website for more information.
