Geology (with Foundation Year)

This programme focuses on the relevance of geoscience to the needs of society, including the search for natural resources, and the increasing importance of environmental geoscience to society and industry. Geology at Hull is focused on practical work in the laboratory and in the field – with specialist modules in geological maps, structures and materials as well as an emphasis on solving real-world problems. The foundation year is ideal for students who do not have the academic qualifications for direct entry on to the programme. You'll study a range of modules designed to prepare you for degree-level study. See our website for more information.
