Digital Design with a Year in Industry

From the fundamentals of digital graphic design to the completion of sophisticated projects, this programme enables you to develop your creativity, innovation and design skills. You'll study graphic design, 2D and 3D design, animation and filmmaking, and you'll learn to use these new skills to produce professional solutions for all kinds of visual design problems. We'll teach you how to solve creative problems using advanced digital technologies. And we'll provide you with the rounded skills and experience needed to excel in your career. This course also comes with the option of a foundation year, and a year in an industrial placement - see our website for more details. We encourage our students to consider a work placement in Year 3. Placements can be with multinational organisations employing large teams of design staff (such as Sky or the BBC), through to small to medium enterprises around the UK and beyond. We also work closely with the Centre for Digital Innovation, a £15-million investment in Hull's digital industry.
