Our programmes invite you to be part of the University's thriving literary and creative scence – contributing to Hull's legacy as UK City of Culture. - Our Larkin Centre for Poetry and Creative Writing attracts internationally-renowned visiting authors, as well as emerging new talent - Access to Middleton Hall, our £9.5-million concert venue, cinema and theatre space – as well as our on-campus TV, film and digital media facilities - Hull was ranked in the UK's top five for teaching quality on our creative writing degrees in the 2018 Sunday Times University Guide You'll develop your confidence in writing, building your core skills and experimenting in different genres. The film studies aspect of the course teaches you how to approach film and television as art, history, culture, entertainment and commerce.
