Chemistry (Forensic and Analytical Science)

The course has been designed to develop the skills that are in-demand with employers - you will learn how to solve real forensic investigation problems using some of the latest equipment in our 21st century analytical science and toxicology lab. Studying in our cutting-edge laboratories and using our state-of-the-art equipment, you will be given expert training in pharmaceutical and medicinal chemistry in a supportive environment. Blending forensic science, analytical chemistry and toxicology, your studies are designed to give you the practical skills to work in analytical chemistry, materials chemistry and forensics. We also offer a foundation year, ideal for students whose qualifications don’t allow direct access to a degree course, while the MChem programme gives a deeper understanding of the discipline.
