The course is designed to equip you with a broad overview of how the commercial world operates. We aim to provide you with a detailed understanding of how businesses develop successful strategies through relevant analytical and evaluation techniques. Factors like transformational technology and globalisation mean businesses have to constantly change and adapt so they’re looking for people with the right mix of talents who can solve problems and have ideas. Often these ideas can lead on to the development of new products and services that can contribute to the future prosperity of a company. That’s why we’ll give you the chance to pick up some very desirable skills including analysis and evaluation techniques, how to think creatively and logical decision making. They’re all skills that can be used in any size of business and in any sector. During your studies we’ll give you the opportunity to undertake a placement with a business, either in the UK or abroad. Previous students have gone on to placements in companies such as Banks Sadler, JN Bentley, PPG, Top Cashback, Hewlett Packard and many others.
