The BSc (Hons) Nutrition is accredited by the Association for Nutrition (AfN) (Accreditation Number: 272). On graduation you will be eligible to join the AfN register as an Associate Nutritionist and use the ANutr credentials. The course emphasises practical application of knowledge and you will have the opportunity to gain valuable work experience in the final year. You will also have the opportunity to do a work placement or study abroad for one year before the final year. Successful completion of your placement will enhance your career prospects and improve your class of degree. Additionally, you may also be eligible to enter the Licentiateship of the City and Guilds Institute. The BSc (Hons) Nutrition degree programme is run within the School of Life and Medical Sciences.
