As well as providing you with an understanding of tourism management and the global tourism marketplace, this programme enables you to study either French, Italian, Mandarin or Spanish in order to further your international career opportunities. Your language option will begin with a course suited to your level of prior knowledge, which you will build on through the duration of your degree. We recently added Mandarin to our range of language study options, reflecting the increased influence of China in both business and the international relations arena. Similar to the BA Hons Tourism Management degree, you will gain skills and knowledge in tourism marketing, human resource management, innovation, product development and destination planning. You will gain practical insight from industry case studies and UK and international visits. We are ranked first in London for hospitality, leisure, recreation and tourism programmes in the Complete University Guide 2017 league table. What careers could I pursue? Employment opportunities exist in areas such as tourism marketing, destination management and tourism policy, as well as with tour operators and many other businesses. Graduates will also be well placed to launch their own tourism enterprise.
