Social Work

This degree provides you with the practical experience, knowledge and skills needed for a career in social work and social care. You will examine a diverse range of issues, including disability, family breakdown, bereavement, discrimination and poverty. You will also gain a vital understanding of disadvantage from an anti-discriminatory and anti-oppressive perspective. Our strong work placement arrangements with local authorities and social care agencies have been praised by the Health and Care Professions Council.
