*Please note that the information set out on this website relates only to the programme that commences in September 2018* If you have the ability but not the qualifications, this extended degree may be for you. This new four-year degree programme (the first student intake was in September 2016) includes a foundation year. The 1st year ('Year 0') of this 4-year programme is the foundation year during which TWO modules studied (15 credits each out of a year total of 120 credits) are law modules. Successful completion of the foundation year ('Year 0') means that a student would then go on to study the same module structure as those on the 3-year LLB Law programme that starts in September 2018 (please note that Extended students would however, remain on the LLB Law (Extended) programme for the duration of the four-years of the programme). The modules in the LLB Law (Extended) programme’s foundation year ('Year 0') are designed to give students: an introduction to Business Law; an introduction to the English Legal System; an introduction to Criminology; an introduction to Ethics & society; improved communication skills; academic writing skills. For more information on this programme, please contact the School of Law (email@example.com).
