Please note that the information set out on this website relates only to the programme that commences in September 2018 If you have the ability but not the qualifications, this extended degree may be for you. This new four-year degree programme (the first student intake was in September 2016) includes a foundation year. The 1st year ('Year 0') of this 4-year programme is the foundation year during which TWO modules studied (15 credits each out of a year total of 120 credits) are law modules. Successful completion of the foundation year ('Year 0') means that a student would then go on to study the same module structure as those on the 3-year LLB Law programme that starts in September 2018 (please note that Extended students would however, remain on the LLB Law (Extended) programme for the duration of the four-years of the programme). The modules in the LLB Law (Extended) programme’s foundation year ('Year 0') are designed to give students: an introduction to Business Law; an introduction to the English Legal System; an introduction to Criminology; an introduction to Ethics & society; improved communication skills; academic writing skills. For more information on this programme, please contact the School of Law (firstname.lastname@example.org).
