Our law degree offers a range of legal knowledge, including contract law, criminal law, public law and human rights law, plus the skills to help you succeed in the workplace. The LLB is a Qualifying Law Degree (QLD), which is ideal for further training as a barrister or solicitor. You will study essential areas of legal knowledge such as public law (including human rights), equity and trusts, European Union law, contract law and tort law. In your final year, you choose from a wide range of specialist modules, including commercial law, intellectual property law, financial services law, and international law. The course also equips you with practical skills for employment in different fields. Our School of Law has links to barristers' chambers and financial institutions across London, which creates opportunities within a variety of companies.
