Health & Wellbeing

This degree covers the social, economic and cultural aspects of the health sector and provides a solid foundation in wellbeing for the body and mind, helping you to move into your chosen area of expertise. You will engage in scientific study, critically analysing the social and psychological aspects of health and wellbeing. This will include studying care both for individuals and for communities. Our teaching staff are experts in their fields and carry out world-class research. Under their guidance, you will develop your understanding of key strategies and policies influencing health and wellbeing. You will learn to analyse and apply research, and you will be encouraged to share your own findings and experience to contribute to knowledge in this field. Your final year will culminate in an on-the-job placement, where you will spend time working with potential employers, carving out future career opportunities.
