They both provide the creative skills and knowledge that prepares students for careers in the creative industries. About 90% of HND students progress to Year 3 of the BA Hons Programme through the Top Up route. The aim of the programme is to provide a practical and theoretical grasp of design as an area of intellectual making, creative visualisation and design thinking through professional practice. Stockwell Street studios spaces, crit pit and computer labs equipped with a state-of-the-art Facilities. We also have a new workshop with new laser cutters, 3D printers, and high quality inkjet printers and plotters, a set of TV/film studios, post-production suites, photography studios and audio recording studios, project and exhibition space for student exhibitions and work display – all of which are used for programmes across the Department of Creative Professions and Digital Arts. We are working with students in this process, both through the established student-staff channels, and also by raising these issues explicitly in studio practices, critiques, tutorials and seminars, adjusting our approaches as necessary. As a Graphic and Digital Design graduate students look forward to careers in print and screen design, editorial design, visual communication, advertising, branding, UX, experience design (XD), Branding and Advertising, motion graphics, interaction, web design in the UK and abroad. In this programme, the first, second and third year is shared between various programmes to allow students realisation towards multidisciplinary practices and across disciplines collaborations, a valuable quality of the design practice, which will allow students to develop their features and skills.
