Accounting and Financial Information Systems

This degree has been developed with input from professional accountancy bodies and financial institutions. You will study financial systems and models, including quantitative analysis and management accounting control systems and gain practical skills using software and systems such as Microsoft Excel and Access, Visual Studio, SAP ERP 6.0 and SAGE 50. If you successfully complete this degree with the relevant course options, you will be exempt from a number of exam papers leading to professional qualifications from ACCA, AIA, CIMA and CIPFA. This will set you on the path to becoming a qualified accountant and increase your career earning potential within the accountancy sector. Graduates may find employment as a business or financial analyst or work in financial modelling for large organisations.
