MEng Industrial Internet of Things - University of Gloucestershire

**Why MEng Industrial Internet of Things?** Combining elements of computer science, design and electronic engineering, our MEng Industrial Internet of Things (IoT) will equip you to deliver intelligent, networked objects and devices that meet the demands of Industry 4.0 and 5.0. You’ll examine cutting-edge approaches, gaining an advanced understanding of how to ensure organisational resilience and the specialist skills to harness the advantages of IoT in an industry context. Covering Levels 4 to 7, study integrates content from both our BEng and MSc programmes to ensure you can apply for chartered status on graduation. The course is therefore ideal if you’re looking to pursue a career in analytical and practical aspects of IoT, or want to undertake research in the field at doctorial level in future. Drawing on the extensive industry experience of our academic team and a curriculum which leading engineering firms helped to design, you’ll explore highly-relevant subjects. These include communication technologies and security systems for IoT and systems integration. Lab-based experiments and placement options give you the chance to build practical experience, taking advantage of our links with companies such as ABB, MOOG, SC Group, Spirax Sarco, Dowty Propellers, Kohler Mira and Total Metal Products Ltd. You’ll also develop your ability to collaborate with other engineering specialists, by tackling an industry-based scenario with students from across our engineering courses. **Why University of Gloucestershire?** We’ve been using our expertise to support and inspire students since 1847.
