CENTRAL & EAST EUROPEAN STUDIES: - You will study the history, economics, politics and sociology of the countries of Central and Eastern Europe.The University is a hub for a government-funded Centre of Excellence for Russian, Central & East European Studies, so there are cultural, social and academic events throughout the year. POLITICS: - Politics is the study of the way power and influence are distributed within society and how this affects decision making within and among countries and states. You will study the ideas which inform and explain political activity alongside political institutions and behaviour.
