Portuguese and English Literature - University of Edinburgh

This programme is designed to perfect your linguistic skills in the sixth most widely spoken language in the world and provide you with a deep knowledge of literature and culture. Alongside studying Portuguese language, you will explore a range of texts, both literary and non-literary, from the English-speaking world, Portugal, Brazil and the five African nations where Portuguese is spoken, and undertake rigorous and critical study of the production, reception and interpretation of texts, both literary and non-literary.
