Business Management (Human Resource Management) with Foundation Year

This extended course is perfect if you want a degree in Business Management but you don’t have the standard entry requirements. We prepare you for your degree during the Foundation year, bringing you up to speed with academic skills and a firm grounding in the subject. You can then go on to study the full undergraduate degree. If the idea of finding and furthering talent excites you, and you want to develop your people management skills, Human Resource Management at UEL is the programme for you. Our Business Management (Human Resource Management) degree will give you the skills and knowledge to ensure that businesses get their ‘people’ right. The CIPD accredited course was designed following extensive research and consultation with employers, business groups and students to ensure it offers the most relevant content for aspiring HR professionals, achieving CIPD accreditation The first year will give you a solid grounding in HR and other business theories and disciplines before you specialise in your final two years. You’ll learn how products and services are produced, marketed and sold, how resources are managed and the impact of the broader business environment. The course has a strong emphasis on preparing you for employment, so you’ll benefit from skills and enterprise workshops and we’ll help you to find work experience.
