During this integrated course you will develop your skills in chemistry and biology and learn how these are applied to drug design, drug delivery, pharmacology and medicines management with support from leading researchers and practitioners. To prepare you for multi-professional practice you will also be given a number of opportunities to learn with students from across the medical, nursing and healthcare professions. Enhance your studies with a placement year taken as two integrated six-month periods of pre-registration placement training, one at the beginning of your fourth year and the other at the end of your fifth year. This means you can register as a UK pharmacist as soon as you graduate. This course is particularly suited to international students because you can qualify and register as a pharmacist under a single student visa. The course requires full fees for five years and placements are unsalaried. This course was launched in 2016 and is currently working towards accreditation by the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
