You will study modules from the wide range available in the Faculty of Science. The flexibility of these degrees means that you can choose to specialise, or maintain a broad range of interests if you prefer. In your final year you will complete a supervised research project, which can be in a combination of disciplines. If you take the four-year integrated Master’s option, you will be able to study at least two subjects to Master’s level, including chemistry, biology, mathematics, computing, physics and environmental sciences. Spend your third year of study on a placement in industry, where you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in a commercial environment. Here you will gain invaluable experience and a greater understanding of the application of your science interests. We have links with leading organisations including Astra Zeneca, Aviva, Environment Agency and GlaxoSmithKline.
