You will study modules from the wide range available in the Faculty of Science. The flexibility of these degrees means that you can choose to specialise, or maintain a broad range of interests if you prefer. In your final year you will complete a supervised research project, which can be in a combination of disciplines. If you take the four-year integrated Master’s option, you will be able to study at least two subjects to Master’s level, including chemistry, biology, mathematics, computing, physics and environmental sciences. Spend your third year at a university in Australasia, for example in Sydney, Perth, Brisbane or Auckland, or in the United States or Canada, for example in Florida, California, Vancouver or Calgary. You can also choose a year in Europe, in which case you will take appropriate language modules during your second year, before spending your third year of study at a university in France, Spain, Italy, Germany or the Netherlands, among other countries.
