Then you will tailor your degree according to your interests, choosing from a substantial range of modules covering all areas of the environmental sciences. Options range from geology to ecology and from oceanography to human society and economics. In your final year, you will undertake an independent research project that matches your interests and select from specialised modules and field courses. This course is accredited by the Institution of Environmental Sciences (IES) which means you will be eligible for Associate Membership of the IES upon graduation, with the opportunity to achieve Chartered Environmentalist (CEnv) or Chartered Scientist (CSci) status. Improve your graduate prospects with an additional year in industry. You will spend your third year acquiring valuable work experience in your chosen field before returning to UEA for your final year.
