Energy Engineering with Environmental Management

This is an innovative and flexible degree with great breadth and depth of study. It is also the first step to achieving Chartered Engineer status. Having gained an invaluable grounding in mathematics and engineering in your first year, you will go on to develop your learning through the study of specific energy engineering topics. You will also undertake a major individual engineering project. Current modules on offer include Nuclear and Solar Energy; Fossil Fuels; Electricity Generation and Distribution; Engineering Project; Renewable Energy and Environmental Assessment; and The Carbon Cycle and Climate Change. You will graduate with a combination of energy awareness and environmental understanding – which is in high demand from employers today. All businesses are concerned about the cost of energy and companies want to deal with this in a way that always keeps environmental impact and ethics in mind.
