Accounting and Finance with a Year Abroad

This course provides an excellent foundation, not only if you wish to enter the accountancy profession, but also if you plan to follow a career in commerce, industry or financial services such as banking, fund management or insurance. After gaining a grounding in core business disciplines you will learn the theory and practice of financial accounting and reporting. You will then develop your understanding of business finance and accountancy, as well as contract and company law. As you progress you will turn your focus to advanced modules that are designed to prepare you for your future. You can study Advanced Financial Accounting, Advanced Management Accounting, Audit and Accountability and Personal and Corporate Taxation. In your second and final years, you will have the opportunity to choose optional modules according to your personal interests and career aspirations.Enhance your studies by spending a year studying abroad. You will spend your third year at one of our partner universities before returning to UEA for your final year. This is a great way to boost your knowledge, gain a variety of different cultural experiences and develop your personal and professional skills.
