Mathematics and Astrophysics

The Mathematics and Astrophysics degree at Dundee is a joint honours degree, with equal emphasis on both Mathematics and Astrophysics. It is intended for those who have a keen interest in astrophysics, the physics of the Universe, Galaxies, Stars and Planetary Systems, but who also wish to have a recognised degree in mathematics. This subject combination is available at only two other UK universities. At Dundee we have a strong working relationship between staff and students, so you can get to see your Lecturer or Advisor at short notice and receive expert advice. Dundee is proud of the fact that it has its own Observatory, making it a good place to study if your hobby is Astronomy.
