Whether you want to become a performer, choreographer or dance teacher, our specialist BA (Hons) Dance offers a unique learning experience centred on the internationally renowned dance house, Déda. **Why choose this course?** You’ll learn in first-class facilities alongside cutting-edge practitioners at Déda, the East Midlands’ creative centre for dance, contemporary circus and outdoor work. It’s the perfect setting for an inspirational introduction to the industry. **Is this course for you?** It offers all you need to advance your career as a professional dance artist: high-level technical training, excellent performance skills, deep understanding of choreography, and an appreciation of the history and sociology of dance. **How you will learn** Based in the professional studios and purpose-built facilities at Déda, you’ll learn about all aspects of productions from conception to presentation, including issues such as financing and marketing. Through Déda Producing, there are opportunities to work on events ranging from large outdoor spectaculars to more intimate productions. **Opportunities and experiences** Broaden your outlook with local and national fieldtrips. Be inspired by masterclass residencies with visiting companies.
