HOW YOU WILL LEARN We focus on creative problem-solving through project work. You’ll work on real commercial briefs from the outset, dealing directly with clients to produce and present your work. There’s also an inspirational mix of studio workshops, group and individual tutorials, seminars and lectures, insights from visiting photographers and trade suppliers, as well as visits to exhibitions and employers. OPPORTUNITIES AND EXPERIENCES. The optional year in industry is a brilliant opportunity to build your experience. You could work for local papers and media agencies or in-house for larger organisations. You and your work will be highly visible because we take part in national competitions and festivals, including the acclaimed FORMAT International Photography Festival hosted by Derby’s arts centre, QUAD.
