Broadcast Engineering and Live Event Technology with Foundation Year

We’ve developed this course for students who have not completed a traditional foundation course or who are not quite ready to go on to degree level, but who know which subject they wish to study. This course is the first stage of a bachelors degree – it is not a standalone course. Following the successful completion of the year you'll then progress on to the first year of the appropriate degree. Broadcast engineering is an area of established technology that includes outside broadcast, live events coverage, sports coverage and pre/post production. It is a constantly evolving area that requires highly skilled engineers to keep up with the introduction of new technologies and techniques in a variety of technical disciplines. Throughout this course you’ll be involved in a wide range of exciting media productions, from sports broadcasting and performance production to interactive displays and video creation. This course is uniquely different to other University courses, as part of your time will be spent onsite at Cloubass, who are an industry leader in outside broadcasting and where you will be taught by current engineers. www.cloudbass.com
