Travel and Adventure Media (with integrated foundation year)

This is a practice-based programme, featuring two-thirds study in a production mode, including photography and documentary film making on location in Cumbria and farther afield. The remaining third of the programme is comprised of Critical & Contextual Studies and a core of Employability material. The latter including esential skills of scholarship, research methods and dissertation writing. Critical & Contextual Studies teaching and learning covers matters of history, theory, technology, cultural form, an understanding of the organizational character of film and television and the role of film and television in society.
