The “top up” option comprises of modules in coach and club development, performance analysis, managing community events, research dissertation and vocational placement. There are numerous opportunities to work with local, regional and national agencies including StreetGames, National Governing Bodies (NGBs), local school sport partnerships and within community and performance sport clubs. These experiences can develop diverse career opportunities upon completion of the degree including community, performance and elite level coaching, sport development within NGBs, local authorities, private and voluntary sector organisations and primary and secondary school teaching. Career options are also available within the health and fitness sector and several of our alumni have achieved positions as performance analysts within elite level sport. Graduates may also choose to continue in higher education and complete a masters degree or PHD.
