Psychology (with integrated foundation year)

Psychology explores and seeks to explain and understand behaviour across the lifespan. Psychologists explore human experience across a vast range of contexts and as such the subject matter is extensive ranging from understanding the biological basis of behaviour to questioning contemporary issues such as the impact of social media on child development. Psychology is a scientific discipline employing a range of experimental, observational and other research methods to evaluate evidence based theories. This course is for people with enquiring minds who enjoy investigating and debating ideas, designing research studies and critically engaging with theories and their philosophical underpinnings.
